B&B IL PONTE - Aidone (En)

Welcome to the “Il Ponte” B & B website.

The B & B is situated in Aidone, a small town in the heart of Sicily, about 70 km away from the Fontanarossa Airport in Catania and 10 km away from Piazza Armerina, the city of the world renowned Mosaics, of the Roman Villa which is part of the UNESCO heritage.

Our B & B overlooks Piazza Gen. Cultreri, the bus stop to all tourist coaches and buses, and is near Piazza Filippo Cordova, the historical and business centre of the town.

The lodgings include a room with double/double, a triple with three single-beds, a bathroom and a kitchen.

The B & B is furnished with TV sets in the bedrooms and in the kitchen/dining room where breakfast is taken. At request a telephone line with internet facilities is available.

The Orange Room

A touch of warm colour which recalls the Sicilian sun has been given to the room with a double/double. It is equipped with a TV set, a telephone socket, a ceiling fan and a hot air heating.

The Green Room

This is a room with three single beds which can become a double bed plus a single one. The room is large, bright and comfortable. The colour of the walls recall the surrounding fields and woods of which our territory is rich.

The Kitchen/dining room, where you caen have breakfast, opens onto a covered terrace. It is equipped with stereo, radio and TV set.

How to reach us

coming from Catania or Palermo, along the A19 Motorway, take the exit Mulinello or Enna and go ahead towards Piazza Armerina along the state road SS 117bis. Take exit Piazza Armerina Nord and take the state road SS 288 for Aidone. Drive along Via Martiri della Libertà and past the bridge, turn left into Via Terranova.
Only if you come from Catania, after taking A19 Motorway take exit Motta Sant’Anastasia and drive into the state road SS 192 and then into SS 288 to Aidone. Drive along Via Martiri della Libertà and before reaching the bridge turn right into Via Terranova.
